I purchased the CLR4 123 inch screen. The print material states that the screen undergoes high quality control to assure no defects however my screen had two deep creases. I was ultra careful removing it from the container and followed their instructions precisely as described to prevent any damage. The screen material is not like usual projector screen material but more like photo film material so any crease cannot be removed. I ended up having to submit an exchange request with the manufacturer to hopefully have this addressed.

CLR4. Good quality and easy to assemble

I paired this 123” Akia CLR4 screen with the VAVA 4K laser UST projector and WOW!!! This screen well worth the price, especially if you have an UST projector. I highly recommend this screen.

First time using the projector screen and we love it. The quality is very good and as you can see, it's very clear and better than we expected! It feels like watching in a movie theater and the design is so modern that it gives a nice look to the room. You can watch it at any time of the day and it will still give the good colors and the image you want. The shipping was on time and it was very well packaged.

Wow!!! Just want to let people know this screen is worth the money. I have been looking long and hard to find a perfect screen for my new UST Projector. I have found it with this AKIA CLR/ALR 4 screen. The picture is fantastic with my new Formovie theater projector. The picture is great when the light is on and off. I don't know about other high price screens but I really recommend Akia CLR4 Screen.

Add this screen to pair with my Vava 4K projector and I couldn’t be happier with the picture. Lights on or off, the quality is Incredible. Assembly was a little difficult but manageable with some trial and error. Getting the picture to fit was more difficult than I expected but worth it once I got it right. I would highly recommend this screen with your UST projector.

I have been using this projector screen with Optoma P2 ultra short-throw projector for about 9 months and loving it. Until it developed wrinkles all around the border a few weeks ago. I followed the assembly instructions very carefully and correctly installed the screen. The wavy patterns are not very noticeable in dark scenes but more pronounced when the screen is brightly lit. The pictures don't really do the justice but the wrinkles are quite noticeable especially when you get close. I understand that this screen is not supposed to be top-of-the-line quality, but for this price, I would have expected a higher quality.Update: I contacted customer service to bring up this issue, and they were very helpful. Right away, they sent me additional springs to straighten out the screen and the issue has been resolved. I have adjusted my star ratings accordingly.

I recently purchased AK-NB123H-CLR4 from Akia screens and paired this with my VAVA 4K ultra short throw (UST) projector (black version). I mounted this screen in my living room with two large west side windows (exposed to Arizona sun :)) and pretty much I have been using this setup as a replacement to my living room TV. After using for a week, I can confidently say that (with little ambient light control during afternoon direct sunlight) this screen worked perfectly fine for watching movies (even with night scenes with low light). I’m happy with this purchase and recommend this screen AK-NB123H-CLR4 to pair with UST projector with little light control. Setup was easy with little help from my wife, I was able to mount this screen in two hours from opening the package to mounting on wall. All the required hardware was included and no wrinkles at all, it came out very nice.

Great screen, it is much better than my white screen. Definitely recommend two people to install it. The instructions should be improved as they are confusing for some steps. And watch out when you install the springs, there was one spring cause a small damage of the side of the screen but it does not affect the front side.Hope it can last long enough.

Let me start off by saying WOW, the CLR4 made so much difference. I honestly didn’t think I was going to see much difference just by switching screens but man was I wrong. I normally don’t care to leave reviews but I spent hours researching many over many days since they are so expensive and finally pulled the trigger on this one so I hope this helps save someone else time. Let me tell you it’s worth every penny and compared to some other brands the price for the CLR4 was so much lower while remaining the same or better than the other expansive ones. They have other lower priced ones but if you want it to actually be worth your money CLR4 is the way to go for an extra $500. Works great in the day and night and I have a huge window right next to it so it’s very lit and yet it looks like a normal flat screen TV. My only regret is not buying this sooner. I do want to be clear though the building of it takes 4+ hours. If you do it too quick you will damage the screen. I took my time with it and while it looks intimidating at first it’s not complicated. I would say the hardest part is being super careful unrolling the screen and making sure you don’t scratch or damage it. My advice is prep an area on the floor that is clean and flat use the sponges they provide underneath. Build the frame at a separate location and then lay it on top of the screen when it’s ready.

No difference than other cinegrey screens. Doesn’t do good rejecting lights from above or side. Not worth the money and a hassle to return once opened and assembled. Moreover, seller would not accept return stating package is opened and cannot resell. Amazon A-Z coverage advised to try repack and return and will resume the investigation when item reaches the seller. Such a hassle so I’m keeping the screen and take the loss.I WOULD NOT BUY IF I KNEW THE POOR PERFORMANCE OF THIS SCREEN.

- It makes 4K video low resolution. The screen texture should be way below 4K. Regular flat wall presents much better image quality. Textured wall also presents better image quality with more details.- It makes video overly saturated, even when set color temperature to cool tone.- Assembly is labor intensive. Hours for first timer. Most people should be able to do it.- Not easy to mount it on wall. I hired professional to mount it.- Packaging: average quality.- Plastic material: looks good.- Return policy: buyer pays shipping. 50% restock fee. If product in non-sellable condition, credit will not be provided.Recommendation: If high resolution or color correctness is your thing, then find a store to look at the product before place order.

Assembly was tricky the frames tweeted during springs tension especially when attaching middle support. Picture quality is good.

Was really well packaged, but parts seem to not fit together properly. Frame went together well, fell in the marks they provide for proper fit, but center support bar is too small and so far springs ripped 2 holes through the grommets. Will see how it looks when finished, but most likely to be returned for a different product.Edit: changed to a 4 star. The product itself displays a wonderful image. The installation process is not that easy. Pre-installed grommets would do wonders.

This was probably one of the best deals for such screens while it was available on sale. I paired it with Epson LS 300 and enjoy since. Few thing I didn’t like so it took a lot of patience to remediate. My screen came with no metal grommets in the holes for the mounting springs. Apparently this is the way the screen was engineered, but since this is not a cheap toy I took it upon myself to improve the longevity of screen material and punched in metal grommets (over a hundred holes).After about 6 month I noticed wrinkles in the top corners of the screen and was as disappointed as other people here since once you notice it you can’t unnotice.What I tried to do is to smooth the screen by hands in white cotton gloves from the middle of the top frame to the corners and same on the sides. To my surprise it worked and screen now as smooth as on the first day! I did repeat it again in about a month and so far it’s been just fine.

I purchased the AWOL LTV-3500 UST..Tried to cheap out on a screen that's Wasn't "Clr-Alr", what a mistake I made. If you own a UST Projector, especially the new TRI Laser ones, do yourself a favor and don't cheap out on the screen, you'll regret it. This CLR 4 123 inch was the cheapest with quality I could see myself paying for.. Saw another brand 120 inch but the wait time was long. This screen came fast and was packaged very well.. But i have to warn anyone that buys this screen to check the screen BEFORE putting anything together.. I built the screen with the utmost care, and when I went to hang it, all I saw was scratches ALL over the place. The sun was shining through the back of it and there were scratches going up/down /sideways all over... I know for a fact it wasn't caused by me, knowing the screen never moved when I put it together.. I was depressed when I saw all the scratches but after I hung the screen they weren't noticeable close up or far away.. The screen does its job, looks fantastic day with lights and sunlight and AWESOME at night!... It was worth it for me.If your on the fence about buying it, just pull the trigger, nothing out there cheaper or better..

We can now watch our short throw projector during the day. It is a brightly lit room and it looks great

Set up was not easy; 2 man job and multiple hours. Had trouble getting the top and bottom brackets the correct distance, until I realized a trick (just minimally screw in the bottom brackets so that it is loose enough to move and then let gravity do the job after the screen is on the bracket)
