Assembly was pretty straight forward and the material and quality of build is apparent. Take your time and follow the instructions and be careful. It’ll be the best hour you’ve ever spent. The position is also important. Place the screen so your eye is roughly at the the top of the bottom 1/3 section of the screen. Measure between bracket mount locations. Just over 46” so leave the bottom two loose. The picture improvement over just showing on the wall is massive. Blacks are sharper and darker. And the detail stays sharp even in a lit room. I use a Casiris A6 projector. This screen really brings out the capabilities of this projector. You can spend more but I don’t think you’ll find any at this quality near this price. If you have a $3000 or below projector this is your screen. I’m at 10’ distance so the 103” is still massive without over filling the field of view.
Solid screen and good for the price. Improved image over standard projection screen when paired with Formovie Theater.
This is a great option for any ultra short throw projector. It made a big difference from using a simple wall so I am very happy with this screen. I recommend having at least two people for the install. I was able to out the frame together alone but I had my wife help with the film, springs, lining it up against the wall.I will report if any issues.
I was using my ust projector with an ALR CineGrey 3D 1.2 gain screen which is supposedly incompatible with ust projectors and didn't have any issues other than it looked washed out in the daytime. But this screen blows it away! The brightness and contrast is amazing with my 2200 lumens projector with the lights on as well as daytime with the shades open.
