It comes well packaged, however after you open it it has wrinkles. In addition to that, as you can see in the picture , it is almost see through. A good thing is that it is easy to set up
Well I guess you get what yo pay for... I can see this application being practical for some usage but not indoors and not the specified length. This needs to be pulled tight which the measurements do not account for, it is larger then specified and showed up damaged which I was willing to over look but would not buy this again even for $20.
Overall good screen I was disappointed when I seen it was basically see threw. I wanted the one with the black background. Not sure if I got sent the wrong one or if I bought the wrong one but I'd prefer the black background bc I think pictures better with those but this ones ok. It took a while to get a good picture but finally got it the best we could. The sticky hooks arent great have had three fall down already but we put little screws up to hang those ones so far, might have to do them all but not a huge deal. Over all good for price.
Okay let's talk about it wrinkle resistant I would say that that is a 3-star, The picture quality could be better but I will still give it a three-star because it could be my projector so we got to be fair. Brightness is very luminous I took a picture with the light on picture light off It could be better with the light on but again that could be my projector we got to be fair. Material quality I actually have no problem with that is a four star. Now the other four started I would give this particular projector screen for will be the size It is enormous! I haven't used the transparency thus far as that goes so I will update my review when I actually do. But I would like to say that it is worth the pain.
Very nice
The Akia Screens 120 inch Indoor Outdoor Collapsible Portable Projector Screen is a great addition to our house. Great price for quality construction. It was easy to set up and was ready in minutes for our movie night at home. The picture quality is terrific. Very happy with the purchase!
I only used one screen, but I could see the lines from my fence a little. It wasn’t a distraction because it was only during the lighter portions of the movie.I love the way the movie showed in the screen.
I ordered this screen for our outdoor movie nights. I wanted something inexpensive that would work great. I received the screen but there were stains on it. I contacted the seller and he was extremely accommodating and sent me a new. I had a canopy tent with sidewalls set up Saturday night and decided to attack this screen to watch movies. The holes in the screen worked perfectly with the loops on my canopy. There were a few lights behind the screen from the garages but they really didn't interfere with watching the movie although it seems that way in the picture I took. Would recommend using it where no light shines from behind or adding a black background.
Did not come with the black back. This screen was simply a polyester, see through screen. The description notes a "Black backed" screen, which would block light. This does not.UPDATED 12-17-19After writing the original review, I was contacted by Rick from Akai Screens. He had written asking for a description and some pictures of what I was sent. I shared the picture above. As many have said, the screen I was originally sent was a see through, polyester screen that was NOT as the pictured in this description. I bought this screen because I wanted something with a black back, so it wasn't see through. After sending Rick the picture above, he explained I was sent the wrong product. He quietly and quickly sent me a new screen, sent in a roll as described. The screen came yesterday and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! This is the screen I thought I was ordering. It is heavy, black backed and the quality of the white screen is excellent. I am happy with this purchase but more so, I am happy with the service of Akai Screens and in particular, Rick. Thanks again for making things right and for the great screen!!!
Facing the cancellation of so many activities this summer, we decided to make a list of must see movies that the kids hadn't yet seen. We figured it would be fun to do some of these outside. I decided I wanted an arrangement where we sat in the yard, with as large a screen as possible on the edge of the patio and the projector adjacent to the house providing rear projection.I started researching, and was looking at some DIY projects that used frosted shower curtains, as you can buy a curtain and a grommet kit cheaply. But then I saw a number of Asia-based sellers on Amazon with what appeared to be identical fabric screens for reasonable prices, but were mostly out of stock. This Akia screen seemed to be slightly different (not necessarily a good or bad thing, just an observation), was in stock, and less expensive as the others as well. At about the same price as a complete DIY approach with a shower curtain, this was worth a try.I built a frame from 1.5 inch PVC, and used the stretch cord loops with ball ends to secure the screen.I'm using an Epson projector that has a 3200 lumen output, and a native resolution of 1280x800. Because of the nature of the screen fabric, I suspect anyone who find their images to be too dim needs a higher lumen output. I have found I can start the movie at around the time of local sunset with good results, and the image improves with further darkness. The included photo was taken about 40 minutes after sunset, and provides a fair representation of the relative light levels. There are a few things to be aware of. Because the material is intended for projection from either side, it is very sheer. I discovered a couple of small holes that must have occurred while I was handling it. The good news is that the holes are not noticeable with video on the screen. The other issue I found is shown in the other photo. As I was stretching the screen, it appears that some runs developed in the fabric at the grommet. This doesn't cause any problem, but it also highlights how delicate this fabric is.In the end, I'm quite happy with the performance of this screen for outdoor use. Even if it is ready for replacement at the end of the season, I'll feel I got my money's worth, and will happily buy another one next year.
It was VERY THIN....you can see right through material
Muy delgada la tela y no refleja una buena imagen
Very blurry and dim. Picture quality was much better when just projecting it on my wall
Specified 2 and only came with one screen
The whole thing is see through, don’t see how this can possibly be useful, complete waste of money.
Low build quality with the grommets. Also not a decent projector for walls. Don't used outside bc it's cloth so would not be worth washing.
A lot thinner and see through than I expected but for the price, I suppose I shouldn’t have expected more than that. The grommet holes are great to help hang
It came wrinkled and creased. The material is see through so it can only be used on a white wall to avoid the transparency.
This fabric was so thin. It had to be pitch black for the movie to show on the screen which isn't helpful when there is a campfire nearby.Very disappointed
I didn't know it was going to be made in china. It was supposed to have a vibrant picture, but you can basically see right through the screen. And it was made with products recognized in California for causing cancer.
Pictures is very blurry
