Very good product. Appreciated the hanging bracket that allows mounting on wall, instead of just hanging. Only reason for 4 instead of 5, is that screen sometimes not rolling all the way back up. Would recommend to others.
Overall this was a great buy. I've only had it up a short while. Love the remote and that I dont have to pull the screen up and down by hand. Still fine tuning the overall setup.
I was looking at a comparable sized screen but found this one for several more dollars giving me about 10 more inches of diagonal viewing area. The installation wasn't hard, but I had to purchase some wood eye bolts since the unit only came with mounting kit for sheetrock. However, there was minor damage to the backside of the unit despite it being package pretty good, but the damage didn't affect the operation of the unit.
Love this! The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because there was a slight dent on the bar, probably due to shipping and handling but nothing to worry about. I wish the remote had labels for the buttons but it’s easy to remember so it’s not really a big deal. Other than that, it works amazing!
The picture has a decent amount of ambient light so i would knocm the screen. The image is actually very good!. The screen unrolls well but isnt very tight when down(a downfall of most retractable screen unless you wanna spend thousands). I would say my only gripe with the screen is honestly the mounting solution for ceiling mounting kind of sucks, a hammered in bolt, a carabiner, and a hook on the screen doesnt inspire confidence. I havent found a suitable replacement for ceiling mount but it will be changed as i randomly worry about the whole thing crashing down
Bought this screen 2 months ago, fixed it 1 month ago. Screen is really good, but when tried retract it when not in use, it retracts only ~60% and remaining ~40% still hangs. Even if I press up arrow in remote again, it won't retract completely. Customer support was very supportive and gave immediate solution and also processed 25% refund for inconvenience.
Very nice and easy to install it was out of the box ready my husband just hang it and plug it in and it was ready to go no problem love it

Loved the material, ease of hanging from the ceiling and white background.
Just received our motorized screen from Amazon, got here super quick and luckily with no damage. We mounted it next to a big window in our loft and will primarily be used for movies, some gaming and watching Lebron James and the LAKERS, yeah baby! If you're looking for an electric screen with some basic features, this is a great choice! It's big, it got here super fast, includes everything I needed and it's super easy to hang on our wall. For the price, I mean comm'on you cant beat it! So excited for the season to start.
Product was exactly as described. Picture quality is very good, and the screen overall functionality is great. Very pleased with this purchase.
I had purchased this 150inch projector screen for my parents as a Christmas present. Along with a 1080p BenQ Projector, 4k Dolby Atmos Receiver, 5 Dolby Atmos Surround Speakers, and accessories to connect everything together. This really was pricey and it was a big investment but overall we are really happy with the results. The only downside with this projector screen is that it may have been a bit too big but there's nothing we can do about that because our projector is about 17 feet away from the screen. If we had gotten a smaller screen the projector would be projecting the images bigger than the screen. Still this looks amazing for the colors that my BenQ MH535FHD 3,600 lumens projects. And I bet this screen would look even more amazing when we upgrade to a 4k Projector in the future. The Manufacturer Warranty is still something that I hope works out well, in the event my motor fails within the 2 years of purchase. Sure it's expensive to get a 150inch because it has to be shipped by Freight but if you're even considering buying one then you should just go for it and enjoy it. I like to pay the extra cost just so I don't need to worry about upgrading for a much longer time.
Buy it. Buy it yesterday. I used this for my bedroom, in a very unconventional space, because there is literally no wall a TV can be used well. It is so easy to stop on a dime, it goes probably another 2 feet lower than my video shows, but thats all I need for this width. The remote did not come with a wall mount, and does take a weird battery but it came with that. And since I’ve seen reviews about people being concerned with denting on shipment, I Included the packaging as well, the supplier definitely packs it in a way where it should be more than fine. A shipper handler would really have to try to damage this. Mine came flawless. If you dont have an open wall and have literally any obstructions (I.E. my door frames) buy mounting brackets as well, mine were like 11$ here on amazon. This is definitely low profile if directly wall mounted . The screen looks and works great, but honestly I think the picture quality depends WAY more on your projector. No smell, if there is one they suggest airing it out for a few days or returning, and state that this is normal/ common due to the binding of materials used to make the screen. It just is what it is for the screen type. But even if I had had to air it out I would still recommend it. But again, I didnt. Mounting is 93 inches apart and the whole thing is probably 95-96inches wide. And I personally havent trued to sink it to drop with my projector, not sure I even will. The remote is simple enough, and with the door opening in toward the screen, ver unconventional space, probably not wise in my case
I use this screen for evening/night projection in a room that gets a lot of sun, so it's always retracted when not in use.It was easy to unpackage and hang. The motor is quiet and thus far reliable. The screen itself is of acceptable quality for most home applications, especially at the price point. It is a bit flimsy and plasticky, but it's what I expected.I did have one issue right after hanging and plugging in the unit that warrants a word of caution. The end of the screen shifted within the housing a bit in transit, and the left end of the weight bar was caught inside the housing. I didn't notice it until I started trying to lower the screen the first time. The right side of the screen started coming down, but the left side didn't because it was stuck. I stopped the motor with the remote, but then made an additional mistake of trying to retract it to see if it would right itself. It only twisted and creased the screen material. I manually got it unstuck, and it now works flawlessly, but I now have permanent distortion in that part of the screen. The photo is after trying to correct with heat/hanging/etc. Doesn't affect image quality significantly, but it's a permanent blemish. Even if Akia offered to replace it (I didn't reach out to them to ask), it would be way more hassle to box the thing back up. Ultimately I kinda chalked this problem up to a user accident, and I still give the product a 5-star review overall. Make sure ends of your screen are free before dropping it the first time!
Got the 150" screen a few months ago and it's been working beautifully. Pretty heavy piece of equipment and given how big it is it needed 2 ladders and 2 people to get it installed. We did use our own screws given how heavy it is. Sometimes the remote is a little finicky, but you just have to aim right and press the button like you mean it. No issues with it getting stuck halfway retracted. Take into account the electrical components on one end of the housing make it stick out more on the left than the right. We didn't think about that, so the screen itself is a little off center in our nook, but not enough to be glaringly obvious. All in all I'm impressed for the price and would definitely recommend.
It's a decent screen so far but the automatic raising and lowering with projector power is a pain. Very few projectors seems to have a 12v output and the remote has to be tethered to the projector. So a ceiling mounted projector has an inaccessible remote.
Great value, but the "STOP" button stopped working after 3 months. The remote is also pretty chunky and none of the buttons are labelled.
